Leadership is an action, not a position

Leadership is an Action, Not a Position

In the world of business and networking, there’s often a tendency to associate leadership with titles or ranks. Yet, true leadership is not about the position someone holds, it's about their actions, values, and commitment to those around them. Leaders aren’t defined by titles but by what they do, how they inspire, and the example they set.

The Truth About Titles: Do They Really Equal Leadership?

It’s common for people to feel drawn to those with prestigious titles, thinking they must be the best mentors or collaborators. But before aligning with someone solely based on their rank or title, it’s essential to dig a little deeper. Consider these questions:

  • What’s their track record? Look at their past achievements and consistency. A strong leader doesn’t just hold a high position, they’ve proven their dedication over time.

  • Are they actively involved in their business? True leaders remain engaged and connected to their work and team, setting the example through action, not just direction.

  • Do they lead by example? A genuine leader will go through the same steps they ask of others, showing their commitment to the journey and goals.

  • Are their strategies unique and effective? Some leaders carve out unique, personalised strategies that set them apart from the crowd, while others simply follow common approaches. Innovation can be a strong indicator of a true leader’s dedication to excellence.

  • Is their track record visible and transparent? True leadership is built on integrity. Leaders who share their successes and struggles alike show authenticity, which builds trust.

What is the Mastermind Academy

Introducing you to my Mastermind Academy Blog.   What is it?  What is it for? What is the Mastermind Academy all about? What are the benefits of attending our Mastermind Academy? These are typical questions I get asked.  The Mastermind Academy was born a while ago. In fact already last year, although I didn't give it a name. It got me thinking and I came up with "Mastermind Academy" . This is a kind of programme to help and support our members of the Front Row Team within the VivaMK Network. Out attendees of the MA (Mastermind Academy) learn or increase their knowledge about our  business and how to strengthen their business, whether they want to learn new skills about retailing online or offline, branding,  sponsoring, leadership skills, setting goals or to gaining more confidence in various areas within their business and overcoming any challenges. We all have challenges from time to time, but the secret is ....... to  overcome these and to learn from th...

Do You Stick to What You Say? Action Speaks Louder Than Words.

In the world of business, leadership, and personal growth, one of the most defining traits of success is integrity and fairness, doing what you say you will do and treating others with honesty and respect. We’ve all heard the phrase “actions speak louder than words,” but how many of us actually live by it? How often do we commit to something and truly follow through? Words Are Easy, Actions Take Commitment It’s easy to make promises, set goals, and declare our intentions. But without action, these words are just empty statements. In network marketing, personal development, and even our daily lives, people respect and follow those who don’t just talk about what they’re going to do but actually do it. Think about the leaders you admire. Are they the ones who constantly say, “I’m going to do this” but never take action? Or are they the ones who commit, show up, and make things happen? True leadership isn’t about making big claims; it’s about setting an example through consistent action an...

Overcome challenges

We all have challenges from time to time.  Some can be small, some can be big and scary, We are scared, worried and maybe sad.  But the most important thing is, how are we facing them?  Do we accept the challenges? Do we ignore the challenges? Do we do what it takes to overcome them?  I tell you something, we can overcome challenges. It really depends on how we are approaching the challenge. When we accept the challenge and can identify the challenge , we are thinking positive and we can overcome them, and become a stronger person and maybe even learn new skills. Accept the challenge and see it as an opportunity .  But what is the secret to overcome these? There is no secret . We have to  1. accept the challenge 2. write down goals how we want to overcome the challenge. 3. Break them down into smaller steps  4. Write a plan and put in the action. 5. Focus, be willing to learn and accept that we may be have to work more hours, learn new skills and...
